Terry Anderson has been in the technology industry for nearly 30 years, including more than 20 years of experience with Citrix products and technologies.
Advantec Global Services Inc (AGSI), Oklahoma, USA
Terry Anderson has been in the technology industry for nearly 30 years, including more than 20 years of experience with Citrix products and technologies. For the past few years, his time has been split between delivering Citrix courses and performing consulting engagements on a global scale across the full Citrix product set, with a primary focus on NetScaler and XenMobile implementations.
“People often ask me if I prefer teaching or consulting work. My answer is both,” Terry says. “They complement each other. The consulting projects allow me to bring real-world insight to the classroom and when teaching, students invariably ask questions that require me to learn something new that compliments my consulting toolbox.”
Fun fact about Terry
“Years ago, someone shared with me the secret to being a consultant that I always share with my students. Being a great consultant does not mean that one knows all of the answers. The secret to being a great consultant lies in being a faster researcher than the client.”

Advantec Global Services Inc (AGSI), NJ, USA
Rick has been a technology trainer for over 25 years, delivering Citrix Virtualization and Networking trainings since 2000. Throughout that time, he has received the Highest Rated CCI award twice. Advantec, a leading technology solution provider, has created opportunities for him to bring real world experiences into the classroom. “Very early in my career, another trainer suggested to me that we are, to a large degree, entertainers,” he said. “With that in mind, I have always tried to deliver a technically solid presentation in a classroom environment that was fun and enjoyable for everyone. Receiving this recent student evaluation was rewarding, but also served to remind me of what is important to the students: ‘Rick was personable and friendly throughout the course. He was helpful where he needed to be and did so without putting down the attendees. He expressed an interest in the individuals throughout the training, their experience and why we were in class. He did a good job keeping the class interesting and he was effective at keeping my attention throughout his week-long presentation’. ”
